All entrepreneurs committed to environmental and/or social impact, who wish to create and scale their startup, regardless of the sector, and whose project has reached sufficient maturity to participate in the program and has been approved by the selection committee.
Applications for the Amazonite program are open here year-round. Upon receiving each application, we convene a selection jury composed of The Bench team, partners, innovation vertical leads, and participating experts.
The jury carefully reviews each application according to our selection criteria (innovation, environmental or social impact, economic viability, and responsible governance) and notifies applicants of their acceptance or rejection into the program.
Of course. Université Évry Paris-Saclay is our historic partner, but our programs are open to everyone, whether you are a student at another institution, a recent graduate, an employee, job-seeking, or undergoing a career change.
Yes, absolutely. The Amazonite program is fully flexible, offering 28 hours of guidance that can be scheduled according to your specific needs and availability, as well as that of the participating experts, over the 12 rolling months of the program.
Yes, it is entirely possible to contact your incubation advisor to purchase additional hours on an à la carte basis.
However, the 28 hours represent the amount of guidance we consider optimal and sufficient for a structured and effective support, complemented by networking opportunities and participation in The Bench events.
Yes. After Amazonite, The Bench also offers an acceleration program called Emeraude.
No. Each program is independent. You are free to stop after the incubation or to apply for the next program.
If you wish to join the acceleration program (Emeraude), you will need to inform your incubation advisor.
Yes, this is possible through our partner and associate Naama, which offers several coworking spaces across the Île-de-France region. You can get in touch with your incubation coordinator to benefit from preferential rates.
The Bench has chosen not to include office space within its programs in order to focus on what matters most: high-quality support that truly structures and accelerates the development of your project. In addition, evolving work practices mean that workspace needs are now quite limited among the founders we support.
No. Our programs are not currently eligible for funding through the French Personal Training Account (CPF). However, we are working on it.
Yes. You can absolutely pay for the program through your company. An invoice will be provided.
Of course. The Bench Invest is our dedicated fundraising pillar. It connects entrepreneurs with a network of potential investors, including The Bench Angels, our business angel club.
The Bench may also invest on a minority basis in startups that match our investment thesis.
